The Alumni of Holy Redeemer

At Holy Redeemer Catholic School, we provide our students with a faith-filled and academically rigorous experience that sets the foundation for lifelong success. Students are surrounded with a strong community and supported by dedicated, innovative educators who challenge them to embrace their full potential. Several of our teachers began their journey at Holy Redeemer as students themselves years ago, and returned to inspire the next generation.Learn, Serve, Lead, and Succeed“As someone who attended Holy Redeemer Catholic School 24 years ago, I’ve seen the school change quite a bit. The one thing that’s remained the same is the sense of family and the community of faith that our school is. I know now how my parents felt all those years ago and all the sacrifices they made for me to attend a Catholic School. It has instilled in me the values to learn, serve, lead, and succeed. These [are the] same values my husband and I are giving to our four children through Catholic education.”— Brooke Mello, third-grade assistantCompassionate Teachers“It’s been 11 years since I once walked the halls of Holy Redeemer Catholic School as a student. God has blessed me to come full circle with this particular aspect of my life, and He’s allowed me to walk through the same halls as a teacher. Every teacher knows the [question they get asked most often] is ‘Why did you want to become a teacher?’ For years, I’ve [told] the story of how my middle school science teacher changed my world and opened my eyes to a world of science. I always mentioned that that was the beginning of my path to becoming a middle school science teacher. You never know how much of an impact something has on you until you’re no longer attached to that something. After leaving HRCS, I went on to high school and college and would always find myself telling someone a story of the things we would do at my middle school, the people I was friends with, and about the teachers that taught us. Holy Redeemer truly left a lasting impression on me. After college, I moved to Los Angeles and felt as though I had to come home for a bit to give back to my community before moving on again. I slowed my roll, moved back, and had absolutely no idea how I was going to give back to Kissimmee. The only thing I knew was that it was very important for me, and so I prayed about it. God then allowed me to become a teacher at Holy Redeemer and has been guiding me on how to influence those who were once in my seat. It is really nostalgic, but the Lord works in mysterious ways, and for that, I am thankful for this opportunity.”I am blessed to be a lifelong member of the Holy Redeemer School Community.”— Suzelene Charles, middle school science teacherLifelong Friendships“My time at Holy Redeemer Catholic School as a student was truly the best time of my life. I formed the best friendships, that still to this day are apart of my life. One thing I am most grateful for is the respect I learned along the way. The relationships I built at HRCS are ones I will cherish forever, [with both] teachers and peers.”— Courtney Catani, fifth-grade teacherOsceola County private schools proclaim the Gospel message within an academic environment of excellence that challenges students to be creative and critical thinkers.
