Catholic Schools Week is coming, and this year’s theme is to learn, serve, lead, and succeed!  This national celebration is entering its 46th year. Catholic schools in Kissimmee, FL observe this special week with Masses, assemblies, and other activities for students, families, parishioners, and community members to come together and congratulate. Take a look at what makes our schools worth celebrating.

Academic Accomplishments
Our Osceola County private school students score well above the national and state averages on standardized tests. Ninety-eight percent of our seniors went to college this past year and have earned more than $25 million in scholarships. Our schools are Blue Ribbon schools, which are designated by the U.S. Department of Education. Schools that are selected for this prestigious award display excellence in leadership, teaching, curriculum, student achievement, and parental involvement.

STREAM Curriculum
Through a low student-teacher ratio, technology incorporated in the classroom, and a variety of enrichment activities, our Catholic private schools strive to inspire excellence in the students. Our challenging and rewarding curriculum meets or exceeds Diocesan and Florida Next Generation Standards. Our highly qualified faculty and staff are dedicated to developing students to reach their full potential. Students are immersed in a well-rounded academic program and receive a comprehensive education in all of the core subjects, including English, mathematics, science, and social studies. Additionally, we offer additional enrichment courses like religion, physical education, computer science, art, music, drama, Spanish, and communication arts. Middle schools and high schools provide students with opportunities for advanced-level coursework. The STREAM curriculum model combines education and life work together, which prepares students for the future because it provides students the opportunity to explore and evaluate through critical thinking and problem-solving.

Faith and Service
A big part of the Catholic curriculum and faith and service. Serving together is what makes our facilities educational communities. We encourage students and their families to build bonds through service and cooperation. Students excel when they feel like they belong to a community. We consider ourselves more than just schools; we are family, serving each other and Jesus Christ.

Forming remarkable human beings for a better tomorrow, Kissimmee Catholic schools prepare students to lead, inspire, and excel through their academic years and beyond. We want to help showcase what makes Catholic schools the best when families are searching for the right school for them. During Catholic Schools Week, attend open houses to take a look at our incredible schools and what we offer.
